Josh, Justin and Desmond were great!. Josh delivered for me the same day, within a couple hours of booking. Took extra care with my chef's range and my house. It was large and extra heavy. They were Fast, courteous, reasonable and fair price, and very careful.

I called Josh at Chesapeake this morning after a very well known “Last Mile” delivery company I paid for White Glove service from absolutely failed at delivering my new bed. They tried to bring it up the stairs, found it to be a tight squeeze and gave up after 20 seconds of trying, telling me it simply could not fit up the stairs. Josh heard my story and sent his team out this evening after a full day of scheduled moves. Antoine and Primo arrived, assessed the situation and with skill and fantastic teamwork they went above and beyond to get the bed upstairs. They were kind, professional and overall wonderful. I could not be more appreciative of Josh, Antoine and Primo, and will absolutely only be recommending/using Chesapeake for moving services from now on.

We hired Chesapeake Moving Company to help us move back into our home following a remodel. Sylvester and Jerome worked hard and took care of our belongings packing up our storage unit and temporary apartment relocating everything back into our house. They were extremely diligent handling all of our delicate items. We highly recommend working with this team and would contact again if we need help moving in the future.

I'd recommend this company to anyone who needs movers. Manuel, Axel, and Armando were helpful, attentive, and timely. They not only wrapped fragile items the previous movers didn't, but then helped load a sofa & love seat for my friend who met us there. They beat me to my storage facility, and I wasn't late, so that says a lot about these men & company they represent.

Chesapeake Moving Company was wonderful to work with! Primo, Antione, and Desmond worked efficiently, and quickly to provide fantastic packaging and moving my belongings. They were personable, kind, and respectful. I needed my things moved quickly and within 5 days of contacting the company I had my moving day scheduled. I can’t thank Chesapeake Moving Co enough for all their help and wonderful customer service!

Fantastic experience with Antoine, Manuel, Carlos, and Kevin today! Moving from 3 story row home + basement + rooftop deck to 3 story home. Lots of stairs but the guys never complained. Rather they were always fun to be around and took their job very serious. Highly recommend Chesapeake Moving Co.

David and Antoine we’re two of the hardest workers that I have ever met. They both took pride in their work and treated our belongings, home, and time with the utmost respect. The company overall was very easy to work with and communication during the entire process from booking to move was timely and efficient. Chesapeake Moving Co. made our move very easy and effortless and it was a pleasure to work with David and Antoine. Communicating with Joshua was excellent, he made sure we knew everything we needed and made sure his team was set up for success. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Hired Chesapeake Moving Co. for my move this week and they were very efficient and took great care of my stuff. Sly was very personable and communicated the whole process along the way. Josh gave me a quote and it was accurate, I didn’t get any hidden fees. It actually came in a bit lower than I expected. The whole crew was very nice and professional. We had an outstanding experience moving recently with Chesapeake. They have truly earned their excellent rating on here. We had them move our 2br apartment, including packing. They impressively got everything done in one long day. Everyone on the team was friendly, professional, and capable. Their pricing was transparent and very competitive, and their communication was also great. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area. Also would recommend getting help with packing too if you've never done that before - totally worth it! I'm not being incentivized at all to write this, they've just really earned my respect as a business. Thanks again Josh & Team!

Chesapeake Moving Company did an absolutely amazing job moving us locally from one house to another. We had a lot of stuff, and they handled a two-day move with total professionalism, care, and a commitment to complete the full job. Every piece of furniture, our TVs, and artwork were carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. Everything was reassembled at our new house and e could not have asked for a better experience. Josh was fantastic, he kept me updated throughout the process and made everything incredibly easy. Antoine and Manuel were especially noteworthy, and the entire crew was friendly, efficient, and clearly dedicated to great customer service and satisfaction. Their pricing was very fair, and the quality of their work was top-notch. I honestly have zero complaints, just a huge thank you to the whole team for making a stressful move go so smoothly.
